Michael is a Senior Advisor at 1919 Investment Counsel. He entered the financial services industry in 1978 and joined Scudder, Stevens & Clark (a predecessor firm) in 1995. In addition to his role, Michael authors the firm’s Weekly Market Insights. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a Managing Director for PNC Financial Corporation and was Chief Investment Officer for an investment advisory firm (Del-Vest Inc.).

He completed his undergraduate work at Defiance College with a degree in Political Science, and did his graduate studies in history at William and Mary and economics at the University of Delaware.
