The formula Barron’s uses to rank firms is proprietary. Rankings were published in September 2023 and apply until September 2024. Financial Advisor Magazine

FA RIA Survey & Ranking: Financial Advisor Magazine publishes this list annually based upon a number of criteria, and the ranking orders firms from largest to smallest based on AUM reported by firms that voluntarily complete and submit the survey. Rankings were published in July 2023 and apply untile July 2024. To be eligible for the ranking, firms must be independent registered investment advisors and file their own ADV statement with the SEC and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients.
