Alison is a Managing Director at 1919 Investment Counsel and the Head of Responsible Investing Research. In her role as a Responsible Investing Research Analyst, Alison specializes in Corporate Responsibility and values-based research, analyzing relevant social, environmental, and responsible finance topics. She is a member of the Responsible Investing Strategy Group, the Proxy Committee, and the Women & Wealth Leadership Team.

Alison joined the firm in 1996. Prior to joining the firm, she was on the staff of a multi-disciplinary university-based group pursuing the development of an undergraduate business school curriculum that embraced sustainability.

Alison graduated from the University of Arizona and the graduate studies program in Economics at Miami University of Ohio.
