Matt is a Vice President at 1919 Investment Counsel. In his role as a Fixed Income Trader, he is responsible for supporting portfolio management teams in trade execution for fixed income securities.
Matt entered the financial services industry in 1998. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, he worked in the Retail & Retirement Client Services Group at Legg Mason. Before joining the Trading Team in 2005, Matt was a Portfolio Administrator for fixed income portfolios.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and attending live music events. He also enjoys supporting his children by attending their various sporting events and coaching his daughter’s school basketball team.
Matt received his B.S. in Finance from Towson University and his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Loyola University in Maryland.
