Mel is a Taxable Credit Analyst at 1919 Investment Counsel. In her role, she supports portfolio management teams through credit research and analysis. She also provides analysis and expertise through special research projects related to the taxable finance industry.
Outside of the office, Mel is actively involved in several charitable organizations. She is a member of the New York Junior League and has served on the Junior Board of the NY Foundling Charity for the past three years, where she helps raise funds for foster children and other support programs.
Prior to joining the firm, Mel was an analyst at Rothschild & Co, where she worked in investment banking as a generalist for deal-related work covering M&A, equities, and debt.
In her spare time, Mel enjoys staying active with yoga, gymnastics, walking her dog, and skiing. She enjoys traveling around the world and exploring new places, food, music, and art whenever she can.
Mel earned an M.S. in Global Finance from Fordham University and a B.A. from Arizona State University.
