Scott is a Vice President at 1919 Investment Counsel. In his role in Distribution, Scott works with third-party platforms that offer 1919 Funds (1919’s mutual fund family) and Strategies, overseeing the marketing, sales, distribution, and operations for the funds and strategies. Additionally, Scott leads the Strategies & Distribution Team.
Scott entered the financial services industry in 1988. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he served as CFO, COO, and CCO for Lane Five Capital Management, a hedge fund asset manager. Prior to his time at Lane Five, Scott held multiple senior roles across several asset management companies, including Mercantile Safe-Deposit & Trust Company, now PNC, ProFund Advisors, and Alex. Brown & Sons, now Deutsche Bank Asset Management.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys hiking, gardening, and coaching girls club lacrosse.
Scott received his B.S. in Economics in 1987 from Allegheny College.
